How to cut a watermelon

On a hot summer day, there is nothing more refreshing than a very cold watermelon straight out of the fridge. You can cut it any way you want, but the traditional wedges or slices are a little messy. Unless you like juice dripping all over you or having half of your face covered by it, try this for an elegant serving and easy eating:

·      Cut the big watermelon in half

·      Put one half cut side down on a cutting board

·      Cut with intersecting lines about an inch apart

·      You will have pieces in the shape of lollipops, easy to handle and not messy to eat
