Summer Treat
I had a request for some recipes, so here is one of my favourite summer hors d’oeuvres:
Cut fresh figs in halves. If you like blue cheese, put a little piece into the fig, but it’s not necessary. Some people put a piece of walnut, and that works well too. Wrap the fig in a good-quality prosciutto. Put all wrapped figs on a baking sheet and in the 375-400 oven for a few minutes. I usually check and take it out when the prosciutto is a bit crunchy. Put figs on a plate, sprinkle with balsamic reduction, and serve right away. Enjoy!
